Many, many evangelical Christians think that Jesus was a great teacher but not God. Many also think that Jesus was a great being “created” by God. This is the backdrop for this episode, as we want to think of our triune God properly.

 

On today’s episode we talk about thought on Jesus’ nature and the triunity of God by looking into the 4^th century. Here we find the Nicene Creed and a man named Athanasius, both responding to a man named Arius and his influence. Why is this creed important and why is Athanasius still significant today?
